Pictish Horseman
sketchfab
Carved in 2003 and finalized in 2014. Modeled from life while participating in a field project on location in Dunnet, Caithness. The design draws inspiration from a Class II Pictish symbol stone found at Meigle, the hometown area where I was raised. This sculpture takes residence in our garden and is one of the few pieces I have carved that weren't commissioned as a gift for someone specific.
