Pictanny Flashlight holder Updated
thingiverse
I stumbled upon a design that caught my attention but proved to be woefully undersized for my needs. To rectify this, I adapted the original plan to accommodate a medium-sized flashlight, opting for sturdy 8-32 screws and bolts to secure it firmly to the rail, while 6-32 fasteners were used to hold the flashlight in place. Additionally, I tweaked the plastic thickness where the top bolts rested, as the previous design's thin profile was a potential weak point. Fortunately, no additional supports were required. Initially, the original model recommended an 85% infill setting, but I opted for a more conservative 50% and was pleased with the results. For optimal stability, I suggested increasing the wall thickness to 1.5, as well as the top and bottom layers to match.
