The original design woirks fine, but it had too much side wobble, on my head at least. But since I really like the simplicity of this design over some other more complex and heavier structures I found, I had a similar simple approach to eliminate the wobble. I added to more strap buckles to the sides og the plate in order to pull two elastic bands (250mm x 2,5mm) through it and sling them around the headset.
