Pico Algae Scrubber
thingiverse
I engineered this device specifically to remove algae from my pico marine aquarium. Each component features a precisely crafted cavity measuring 13mm by 4mm in size. This carefully designed cavity securely holds the magnet in place, requiring you to pause your print at the optimal moment and insert the magnet with accuracy. I opted for magnets measuring 13mm by 3.25mm in dimensions. Following the printing process, thoroughly clean the device using denatured alcohol and attach self-adhesive velcro, ensuring that the hook side adheres to the scrubber while the loop side attaches to the handle. It is crucial to align the velcro correctly on the scrubber's surface, as attaching it to the wrong side will cause the handle to repel instead of stick. I utilized Raptor PLA for this project.
