PICKO!

PICKO!

Have you ever arrived at a gig bursting with enthusiasm, only to realize you've got a capo but no pick? Or a pick with no capo? That's where the Picko comes in - it's two in one! When deciding on my class project, I thought about those moments when I wished I had something. A memory came flooding back of the time I brought my guitar to perform for them and couldn't play their requested song because my small pick was stuck inside my massive guitar case. That night, I had to improvise by using someone's Costco member card as a makeshift pick. When you're about to perform, you usually need three things: your guitar, capo, and a pick. So, I designed the Picko - a unique device that lets you attach one, two or even three picks to your capo. As a seasoned guitarist with three years under my belt, I know how tough it can be to master this instrument. Many musicians in my family share my passion, and we've all faced similar challenges on stage. My uncle, a professional musician, has had to ask his audience for something to use as a pick before - it's an issue that plagues many of us during our playing careers. With the Picko, I aim to make playing easier, taking some of the stress out of live performances.
