Pickleball Net - Center Support Repair
thingiverse
This is designed to neatly prolong the life of a portable Pickleball net by by providing semi-permanent support where the top net tape at the center has been torn through by the center post. It's intended to replace unsightly duct tape and other things used to fix this problem. One part, with the 'tunnel', fits over the exposed center post and the other part is a backstop support for the zip ties on the other side. You will have to provide two 4 inch (100mm) zip ties that are thin enough to fit the holes. I intended the zip ties to go through the two vertical holes on each side (not horizontally). Basically, you are squeezing the net and using friction to hold it between two parts, one of which is hanging on the center post. To install you will need something sharp and pointed to puncture the net's tape. And a pair of small pliers for pulling the zip ties tight and a pair of 'nippers' for cutting off the excess zip tie length. I avoided as much as possible any material that goes over the top of the net since an occasional ball will hit it and be deflected - often causing a comment.
