This is a custom paddle project built using a Glowforge. The handle grip features a unique 3D printed design. The face of the paddle is crafted from high-quality Baltic birch plywood, measuring 1/8 inch thick. To create a sturdy and lightweight surface, three laminated pieces are carefully assembled, with the middle sheet precision-cut to form a hollowed-out area on the face surface. This innovative approach not only reduces weight but also adds a touch of sophistication when striking the ball. The paddle feels exceptional, boasting an impressive balance that is hard to find in off-the-shelf models. The handle is generously sized compared to standard paddles, providing a comfortable grip for players. To secure the plastic grips on the handle, two 10-24 or 10-32 coupling nuts are used in conjunction with four corresponding FHCS's. When it comes time to assemble this custom paddle project, make sure you have an ample supply of clamps at your disposal – the more, the better!
