Picatinny Vertical Grip
thingiverse
I modeled a simple Vertical Grip as an example for attaching to a Taurus PT111 G2 "Millennium G2" handgun's Picatinny Rail. This grip hasn't been tested, and its use on a handgun isn't legal where I live. The design sticks your hand out slightly beyond the barrel on this model, but it fits any other Picatinny Rail system. Holes are sized for an M3 bolt and nut, requiring at least 28 mm length to allow room for pushing through tight holes during printing. I printed the grip with SUNLU's 1.75 PLA+ Black filament using my ANET A8 custom Bowden setup at 205°/25° on blue painters tape. The print took about 1:30 minutes, requiring no supports. You could use supports to clean up the holes slightly, but I chose a tighter fit instead. Only minor clean-up is needed for the brim and some areas of the rail attachment section. I left the latter with minimal cleaning since it might help secure the grip to the rail better.
