Picatinny-style Rail for OpenROV Trident (includes GoPro mount)
thingiverse
NOTE: Make sure when printing that the bottom of the rail is flat against your print bed. Thingiverse flipped the model. A simple rail, styled after picatinny rails (spacing is not exactly the same), is designed for use on the OpenROV Trident. M3 mounting holes on the rail are 50 mm apart to match hardware mounting points on the bottom of the Trident ROV, secured with M3x10 machine screws. A long version is also included if you want a rail that spans three connection points. Use any picatinny mount, such as options linked below, to mount a GoPro, light, manipulator arm, or instrument securely to the bottom of your Trident. You can also use store-bought picatinny rail mounts. I've included custom-made GoPro mounts in the .stl files, designed so your GoPro in its underwater housing will be parallel to the seafloor for photogrammetry scans. Filenames are GoProMount_smallside.stl and GoProMount.stl - you will need to print both.
