Are you frustrated by the numerous incompatible dovetail accessory mounts on telescopes? Have you ever questioned why there is this peculiar adapter on your Vixen dot star finder? Well, wonder no more. Most dot star finders use Picatinny rail attachments to connect to their dovetail adapters. So why not use Picatinny rails in the first place? This thing is a Picatinny or NATO rail attachment to the Bresser 114/500 telescope tube rings. Print Settings Printer: Dremel Idea Builder Post-Printing Remove the rafts... The four rings on the corners are meant to be removed after printing. How I Designed This STANAG 4694... the 3D model is based on the NATO accessory rail drawing as shown on Wikipedia. Since this is compatible with Picatinny rail, it made sense to use the more common name. When printing with a FDM printer, the tolerances will not be accurate so minor adjustments might be necessary for your printer.
