I thought the original design was flawless, perfectly balanced but unfortunately the rail wasn't long enough to accommodate my standard issue red dot sight, which is widely used. For best printing results, follow the original instructions. A note: For added protection of your red dot, ditch the rail clips and instead secure a thick plexiglass shield directly over the sight using double-sided foam tape.
