I'm utilizing a cover to safeguard my uncovered and unused picatinny rail segments. This setup is currently in place on both my G&G Combat Machine and Classic Army Scarab. I've found this design to be significantly more comfortable than manually grasping open picatinny rail sections, and it can easily be detached if I wish to install an accessory.
