PiCam V2.1 Holder for reprap printer
thingiverse
This holder allows you to securely attach a Raspberry PiCam V2.1 to an X stepper motor, specifically on my Anet3d A8-B model where the lower left screw hole is unused. It positions the Picam at a height comparable to that of the hotend's nozzle. As I'm using OctoPi/OctoPrint, I've been pondering how to best secure the Camera to the Printer. You may need a longer flat cable between camera and Raspberry depending on where your Raspberry is located, considering the camera will be moving with the Z-axis! By the way, I borrowed a PiCam design from somewhere here, but unfortunately, I can't recall who created it. If someone recognizes their PiCam module in my code, please comment, and I'll update the "remixed from" properly. Print Settings: Printer: Anet3d A8-B Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25% Notes: Used ABS, prepared the heatbed with Acetone-ABS-spread (from old prints), heated to 97°C; Hotend 250°C; print speed 50mm/s Needed to alter the model to compensate for ABS shrinkage. Post-Printing: You'll need one screw to attach it securely to the NEMA stepper motor.
