PiCam GoPro Mount - OpenSCAD
thingiverse
Human: I combined the GoPro mount with the Raspberry Pi Cam mount to create a versatile selection of mounts. Dimensions can be found on the following links:\r\n\r\n- [Specs page](https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/camera/)\r\n- [Mechanical Drawing](https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/camera/mechanical/rpi_MECH_Camera2_2p1.pdf)\r\n\r\nI recreated the relevant part of the design in OpenSCAD, using a modified version of an earlier GoPro mount design that I finally isolated and took measurements from. It should make mounting my [MotionEyeOS](https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/wiki) setup quick and easy!\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n### Recommendations\r\n- Print with high infill for added security of the GoPro mount\r\n- M2 hardware is recommended\r\n- Use eight nuts instead of four, with one set serving as standoffs to prevent the plastic from crushing the components on the backside\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n### Changelog\r\n**2018-09-12**\r\n- Initial Upload\r\n\r\n**2018-09-21**\r\n- Print and pic update\r\n\r\n**2018-10-01**\r\n- New pic\r\n- Adjusted recommendations to include standoff info\r\n- Removed "unverified" notice from 2018-09-21 update
