The Pokémon Pikachu is a small rodent-like creature that has a bright yellow body and red cheeks. It has large eyes and ears on its head and is known for storing electricity inside of it. When threatened, Pikachu can release powerful electric attacks to defend itself against predators. The name "Pikachu" comes from the Japanese word "pika," which means lightning, and "chu," which means mouse.
