Pica-tinny Riser

Pica-tinny Riser

thingiverse

Hello,\r\nThis is a basic picatinny riser for an airsoft gun, featuring a straightforward frame and a 10mm increase in height between the bottom of the top rail and the top of the bottom rail.\r\n\r\nThe holes in the main body are currently set at 3mm; I drilled them to 3.5mm afterward and used M4 bolts to tap them, then drilled the clamp side to 4.5mm to create a clearance hole. A small recess was made to fit the bolt head, which will likely need adjustment depending on the screw chosen.\r\n\r\nI printed the main part upside down and it came out quite well, but required supports. I'd attempt printing it on its side if I were more experienced with this process.\r\n\r\nThis version is relatively short, and would not accommodate anything larger than a small optic (designed specifically for my KRYTAC LVOA instead of purchasing a store-bought one). The current design will not withstand significant abuse. If the style of this does not meet your expectations, feel free to message me and I'll make adjustments to style, length, or rise.\r\n\r\nModify it, share it, critique it – do as you like :D\r\nHappy Printing!
