Piboyzero Case
thingiverse
Just stumbled upon sudomods Gameboy Zero Project here: http://www.sudomod.com/. As I found my old original GameBoy Classic in full working condition, I couldn't bear to sacrifice it to this project. So I decided to rebuild a case for this project. I'm planning to do a low-budget version consisting of a Raspberry Pi Zero, a 2200mAh "Gift" Powerbank, Screen: http://de.aliexpress.com/item/2016-Original-3-5-LCD-TFT-Touch-Screen-Display-for-Raspberry-Pi-2-Model-B-Board/32620219495.html?isOrigTitle=true, Controller: http://de.aliexpress.com/item/cheap-plastic-USB-game-handle-controller-retro-game-handle-gray-for-32-bit-and-64-bit/32522358353.html?isOrigTitle=true. All of the China parts are yet to arrive and maybe the case will be adjusted in future, but for now I'm happy with this design. V1.01 : The upper part of the lid didn't stick to the printing bed, so I added a little infill into the LCD space. Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: China Prusa I3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 100% Notes: Make the Infill 100% and uncheck only infill when needed! Post-Printing A lot of sanding, of course, cutting out all the buttons... How I Designed This I used FreeCAD to design this case.
