I enjoyed creating a simulation for my conveyor belt's slack wire tightening. Initially, I attempted utilizing adaptive 3D/2D sketches and sweeps; however, they didn't update during the simulation process. Ultimately, I decided to break down the rope into numerous interconnected elements and applied gravity to each element. To avoid framerate issues while recording, I reduced the number of elements to the minimum while maintaining a realistic appearance.
