Piano Roll Reader
thingiverse
This is a reader for vintage paper piano rolls that utilizes pneumatic vacuum power. (See 1st image) Clearly, there's an obvious musical application here, yet my primary intention behind designing this was to explore its potential as a tool for "programming" pneumatic machinery. Upon further inspection, I realized that this device can be used to control a wide range of pneumatically powered systems. A customizer is included with this design, although its practicality may be debatable. While it can provide some entertainment value, I strongly recommend downloading the original openscad file if you intend to utilize it for any serious work.
With this file you will be able to print Piano Roll Reader with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Piano Roll Reader.
