I've recently been exploring the art of crafting assets with the latest innovations in gaming technology. Typically, I would create an asset by assigning a specific number of polygons and then import it into Quixel for further enhancement. However, I was eager to experiment with a new approach: baking high-poly models down to low-poly versions using 3D Studio Max in conjunction with Quixel Suite 2. To fully appreciate the capabilities of this technique, I opted to start with a single asset - a piano designed in the style of the 1940s-70s era.
