The foot pedal model allows you to create your own sustain pad or guitar patch changer by adding just a few wires. Attach a metal shaft the size of a toothpick through the hinge and melt the surrounding plastic to secure it tightly in place. Drive two screws through the centers of the raised areas on the pads, then take the electric leads from there directly. Install a pen spring between the holes at the edge of the pads.
