Piano Combination Lock

thingiverse

This concept combination lock takes shape as a model grand piano. Users can customize any combination of keys to suit their needs, with no restrictions on order. Not designed for high-security purposes, this piece serves as a creative showcase. The included files provide all necessary details for printing in STL format: three assemblies showcasing the exterior, interior, and individual components of the model. Additionally, relevant files are available in SLDPRT format for easy modification to accommodate various materials and requirements. For spring, dowel, and magnet sizing, users will need to make their own adjustments as exact measurements can be challenging to find. To unlock the piano: 1. Enter the correct key combination. 2. Pull out the slider dowel. 3. Open the piano lid to reveal a hidden compartment. To lock the piano, follow these steps: 1. Close the piano lid. 2. Push in the slider dowel. 3. Insert the locking dowel into side holes and press up firmly. 4. The piano should now be securely locked, with the lid held tightly shut.
