Karen Bear, 63, pours her heart and soul into preserving the community's rich history through volunteering at the Cynthiana Harrison County Museum. Thousands of historical relics are on display, each one a tangible representation of the area's heritage and artistic expression. Karen is particularly attached to one item: a piano that has been hers for most of her life. She donated it to the museum after beginning her volunteer work there. "It means everything to me," Karen says, "to know that something I treasured is now part of the museum's collection."
