I built an electric piano prototype with weighted keys, aiming for a functional MIDI controller. However, producing it and sourcing sensors proved too costly for me. To help others explore similar ideas, I'm sharing the design files. This project was created using Fusion 360 software. Please note that one image includes a red square, which might require modification - a screw is intended to fit there, adding weight to the key. For optimal performance, parts should be lubricated and sanded to ensure tight tolerances. The design incorporates snap fits throughout, allowing components to click together securely by simply pushing the axes into place.
