Pi Zero W Camera Arm Case
thingiverse
I am using a Pi Zero W and a Pi Camera module for my Octoprint requirements. I don't have a long enough camera cable, so I need to secure the Pi as it moves, which means attaching it somewhere stable. To solve this issue, I join the camera arm directly to the Pi case. The original camera arm is from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2267182 and the original case for the Pi Zero is from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1848639. If you are using a Pi Zero W, use this modified top part of the case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2165844. I utilize the camera mount from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2307335. If your camera module is version 2.1, replace the back part with this alternative design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2307685. My short camera cable comes directly from the official Pi Zero case at https://thepihut.com/products/official-raspberry-pi-zero-case.
