PI ZERO IR Night Vision Camera - Flower and Pot case design

I recently got my very own pet hamsters. I love to watch them play, eat, and even sleep. I just can't get enough of them. So I decided to build a streaming camera that lets me keep an eye on them no matter where I am. The only problem is that hamsters are nocturnal and usually most active at night and in the dark. Using a PI ZERO and NO IR camera, I created a streaming camera that can see in the dark. I designed a case in the shape of a flower and pot to hold all the components. I got the idea for the stem from my helping hands. I create stem segments that snap together easily. One of them has a set of leaves you can use as many or as few as you need. Depending on your printer's tolerances, you may have a tighter or looser fit. I found that using a bit of wax helps smooth out especially tight pieces. I created all the files in TinkerCad. It was both challenging and rewarding to finally hold something in my hand that worked perfectly. This is still a work in progress, and I will continue to make the parts better. One of my next challenges is to simplify the power supply. So stay tuned for updates.
