Pi Zero Case

Pi Zero Case

This is a perfect project for a Raspberry Pi Zero. It has space for all the ports, but not for the GPIO pins. The case comes with two lids - one plain and one with a recessed Raspberry Pi logo. You can even print your own logo in contrasting colors to fit into the recess on the lid. A tight fit is required, but I managed to make it work. Additionally, there are four washers that can be placed over the pins. They are slightly loose, so a drop of white glue should hold them securely enough to prevent the board from moving around. To use the camera, you need to connect the ribbon before inserting the board into the case. You'll also require tweezers to retrieve the SD card, but it's doable. I made an educated guess about the size of the openings for the ports. A mini HDMI connector should fit through the opening I created, but if not, please let me know. I added a stand that holds the case upright, covering the HDMI port in the process. However, the camera and USB ports remain accessible. I have an idea to create variations on this case. For example, one version could exclude slots for the camera cable or SD card. Filling these holes is straightforward, but the case needs to be slightly longer to accommodate a Raspberry Pi Zero with the SD card installed. To make assembly easier in Tinkercad, I broke down the top and bottom into sub-parts that can be combined to create different cases.
