Pi Webcam

Pi Webcam

thingiverse

This is a print in place, no support needed case to mount a Raspberry pi zero with a standard camera module for use as a USB webcam. Attach the camera to the raspberry pi with a 38mm camera cable and it'll fit perfectly. The USB OTG is exposed so it can plug into a computer and function as a webcam. Use two M2.5x8mm allen head screws to keep it tightly closed. These should self-tap the first time they are installed. The four prongs going through the camera mount holes can be formed into rivets with a soldering iron or hot glue to fully secure the camera module in place. The tripod thread is designed for the standard 1/4-20 UNC tripod thread. A case with a larger thread (3/8-16 UNC), and ones with a hole for a 1.8 status LED added as V8, along with other design tweaks. Recommend to use showmewebcam on any old micro SD card: https://github.com/showmewebcam/showmewebcam/releases
