Pi Snug Case Bottom for Lulzbot Mini
thingiverse
This remix of a Lulzbot Mini mounting bracket adds a case for the rear holes above the control box of a Lulzbot Mini. Using Octoprint, I'm controlling my Mini. The Pi was previously dangling next to the printer. I wanted to mount it in a case to the side of the printer and clean things up. First problem was the case itself. Most of the Pi cases I found were either tricky to print accurately or broke easily. This case was pretty easy to print, snaps together nicely (no screws, yay!), has vent holes and GPIO access. Nice case. Second trick was mounting. Most cases I saw for the Mini had mount brackets for the front of the Lulzbot Mini, which I did not want because then the USB cable connectors stuck out past the frame of the printer and were sitting ducks to get hit. So I measured up the rear holes and made a bracket for it. Added the mounting bracket to the side of the bottom, and we have a winner for the Lulzbot mini! Pix coming soon. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .15 or to your liking Infill: I did 20. Up to you, but 100 might be a good idea. Notes: This is just the bottom, you also need the top from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1637227. I used Pi_Snug_Case_Top_Slots since i wanted some vents and access to the GPIO/camera.
