Pi One Laser Pistol One Piece Slide with Optics Cut and Fiber Sight

thingiverse

This is a one piece printable slide/upper that is compatible with the Pi One Laser Pistol lower. This prints with no supports as a single unit, incorporating 10 parts of the original pistol into one part. Fusion 360 source included if you want to customize. The slide includes an optic cut that fits the RMSc / Romeo0 / 507K style red dots. Mount holes are for M4 screws. "Iron" sights are printed as part of the slide. Heights are set approx for a 4 yard zero and to match the height of a 507K. The front sight has a hole that fits 1.5mm fiber optic rod. I clean the hole with an 1/16" drill and put a drop of glue on the fiber to hold it. Melting the fiber also works, but unlike real iron, the sight itself will melt from heat. I recommend glue. The sights are NOT adjustable as in the original pistol, but I never understood why they need to be adjustable if the laser has elevation/windage adjustment also. I found the new fixed sights to be dead on after replacing the old original slide. I put a filament change in my slicer design to change the color to black for the sights, but you could just paint them. The "bull barrel" muzzle is a separate print, as the 9mm bore hole couldn't be done without supports.
