Pi & MKS Gen 1.4 & LCD2004 Controller Case
thingiverse
I opted for an MKS Gen 1.4 instead of Arduino or Rambo mini on my Folgertech Kossel rebuild, so I altered this case to match the MKS board. I'm also using an LCD2004 display, and the code to use this with a graphics controller display is included. I had to utilize a USB cable with a right-end connector since that plug exits the front of this board the way it's mounted. I only needed to lengthen one endstop switch cable for the cables to reach outside the frame. The variables to examine for modification for the graphics controller are primarily: G_Y_Offset Br_Ht_Add = 10; //I have this set to 0 for the LCD2004 Any of the variables with the prefix G_ are related to this. Since I don't possess one of these boards and they all appear to be a little different, you'll need to experiment yourself to get it working. Check out the model this was remixed from for more detailed information on this design. I also created a bracket beneath the heat bed to mount a heat bed relay & couple of ATC fuses for the board & heat bed relay. I will add that as a separate upload, but included one photo of what it looks like here. I provided STL files of all the components on one plate which you can easily divide out with your slicer program. The D3 & D4 in the names signify the Dovetail clearance value either .3mm or .4mm. There is also the openscad file for the case & an openscad file for shims that you'll likely require if the STL file sizes aren't what you need. I employed 2 - M3x18mm screws on one side of the LCD display to mount it to the bracket, but believe M3x16mm should suffice. I utilized 4 - M3x16mm screws for the other four holes in the LCD mount. I also used 3mm plastic shims where the LCD mounts to the bracket & 7 or 8mm high shims where it mounts to just the face plate. The shims go between the bracket & LCD mount on one side. I include STL files for 1mm, 3mm, 7mm & 8mm.
