We designed a custom Pi Day coin for our office's annual pie competition, and it was a blast to create. Printing this design was a cinch, allowing us to focus on the fun part - making delicious pies! To give it an extra touch, we decided to print the coin in two colors by carefully pausing the print job at the right layer height and swapping out the filament. The end result was stunning, especially when paired with gold silk PLA filament that gave it a rich, luxurious look reminiscent of a high-end treasure. Our Pi Day coin measures 2.36 inches (60mm) in diameter and is a sturdy 0.2 inches (5mm) thick.
