Pi Case with Fan for LoRaGo LoRa/GPS
thingiverse
I installed the LoRaGo PORT – Multi-channel LoRaWAN Gateway on a Raspberry Pi and paired it with an External 900MHz LoRa Antenna and a GPS antenna for added functionality. The combination of the LoRaGo board and the Raspberry Pi can become quite hot, especially when subjected to heavy use. However, I found that adding a fan and heat sinks to the Pi resolved this issue effectively. The fan used in my setup measures 20mm x 20mm x 8mm and operates at 5 volts. I created this fan using Tinkercad and you can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/aAPLgFmyj0I. Alternatively, I also have a fanless version available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3381766
