Pi case top with desk clips
thingiverse
I was quite happy with the Pi case Remix from Bigjeffrey......so I remixed it. :) Nothing at all wrong with his version. I just got tired of the Pi sitting around on my desktop, sometimes laying flat, blocking the air intakes. I added tines on the sides of case top (for 30mm fan), so I could clip it onto my desk (1" thick), without blocking the intakes or the exhaust fan. Only problem is, I got the tines just a touch too far apart. Not a big problem, in the end. The slight vibration from the fan results in a little hum amplified through contact with the desk- but I have some trimmed-off ends of Command strips from another project, and I can put them on the tines to dampen the vibration while also tightening the grip on the desk. Win-win!
