New version of the camera housing is on its way, and it's going to revolutionize the way you print with your 3D printer. You'll be able to place it right in front of the printer, giving you an unparalleled view of the build plate, nozzles, and everything else that matters. Parts needed for this upgrade include a high-quality camera that can be found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071J14338. You'll also need a fisheye lens to capture every detail, available at https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07MFYM133. Don't forget the camera cable, which can be purchased at https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01N5RS4R2. To take full advantage of this new housing, you'll need to install the latest version of OctoPrint software, available at https://octoprint.org. Some users have reported that the IR LEDs make the camera image look less appealing. However, with a little patience and persistence, there may be another version without them coming soon! As for cable management, let's just say it could use some improvement. But hey, that's a topic for another day. The two pictures at the end are taken from outside the camera's view, one without the IR LEDs and the other with them on. This project was inspired by two amazing designs found on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1599972 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1182520.
