This simple bracket mounts an Pi camera rev. 1.3 (rev. 2.x should work too) directly to the original Prusa i3 mk3.\r\n\r\nThe bracket is mounted seamlessly at the rear of the Einsy case and does not exceed the dimensions of the frame. Standard 150mm ribbon cables are long enough.\r\n\r\nThis design has some limitations that you should know:\r\n- According to the official recommendation from Octoprint, the Pi Zero W is explicitly not recommended for Octoprint since the limited performance might cause issues with printing while streaming. However, from my experience, it's not much of a problem. Streaming while printing from an SD card works fine.\r\n- The camera intersects with the print volume by 2-3mm.\r\n- The limited space results in imperfect aiming of the camera.\r\n\r\nAll in all, this is the least intrusive way to get a peek at your printer remotely.\r\n\r\nYou need one 2mm screw to close the lid. Such screws can often be salvaged from plastic toys.
