Pi Camera mount for Prusa

Pi Camera mount for Prusa

Small camera mount designed for easy angle adjustment and placement near the printer's top platter. The hook is intended to be attached to the top of the Prusa frame, aligning with the spool holder location. A small screw and nut are included to secure a ball joint in place by providing extra grip. No additional structure was built to hold the camera; instead, a small blob of material is used from a 3D pen to keep it in its socket. Changes were made to improve size and switch the stud holding the camera to include a shim for better alignment since initial prototypes sometimes stuck on the bed. A photo of my final assembly can be found attached at the back of this Prusa frame.
