This is my design for the Pi Camera on a Core XY printer. I employ this adapter https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pi-camera-hdmi-cable-extension to convert to HDMI, then utilize this HDMI lead https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00I3HKK52/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to connect them. You may also consider acquiring a short USB A to B cable if you mount the Pi on the frame like I have, as this cable will suffice in that case https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FQGWBYQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I also utilize https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/3-in-1-camera-lens-set lens set for enhanced overall table vision, even though the final video is slightly out of focus. Use Octoprint for PC-less printing.
