Pi Camera Mount
thingiverse
This mounting bracket holds a Raspberry Pi camera above and to the right of the print bed on your Creality Ender 3. It slots into the extrusion on the right-hand side of the control LCD, fitting standard or modified LCDs alike. Designed from scratch in Fusion360, the bracket features an extremely tight fit with no slop. The dovetail joint is also very tight, so handle it carefully when mating the two pieces – once they're together, you'll struggle to separate them (no glue required). The end of the bracket can accommodate any light camera with a horizontal mounting screw but was specifically designed for the PiCamSwivel, giving tilt and pan adjustment. Holes are for M3 bolts, so you'll need two M3 nuts and bolts to mount the PiCamBack to the PiCamSwivel and then to the CameraMountMk3. The PiCamFront and PiCamBack were reworked from Modmike's original design on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2886101). I struggled with a nice fit, so I redesigned the case with looser tolerances. A small recess was added to the top of the case for easy camera ribbon reconnection using a flathead screwdriver. A different orientation mounting hole and slight thickening allowed me to mount it to the new swivel I designed for tilt and pan adjustment. I liked Modmike's X-axis (Gantry) mount but had issues with it not clipping properly onto my X-axis stepper motor, so I redesigned that as well for a secure fit. The adjustable height slot was added for mounting the PiCamSwivel.
