Pi & Camera Enclosure
thingiverse
This is a modified version of the "Pi Camera Enclosure for Bee Counting" designed for an outside view of the hive and a different camera, potentially less accurate. It could also be used for various OpenCV projects or as a streaming cam. To protect the camera and/or TSL2591 lux sensor, glue a piece of Lexan over the hole. I added a lens cover to use a lens from an old mini flashlight instead of Lexan for a cleaner look. The uploaded STL is for a 20mm lens; measure your own lens and create your own STL with OpenSCAD or the Customizer app. To ensure accuracy, compile all the STLs with OpenSCAD since they have changed significantly. A "roof" was added to keep rain and sunshine (heat) off the Pi enclosure. Glue or screw a piece of sheet metal, opaque reflective plastic, etc., to it.
