Pi Cam v2 Case
thingiverse
I designed a custom case for my Pi cam after ruining one by trying to force it into an incorrect downloaded case. The PCB is held secure through pins that fit directly into the mounting holes on the board, keeping everything in place as you slide the rear panel home onto those same pins. You can attach cables either before or after inserting the PCB into the case, depending on whether the retention bar is released first. My back cover has worked flawlessly without any adhesive so far, but adding some glue to the sockets could provide extra security if needed. There are two versions of the front half of the case available: a "Plain" model with no mounting provisions or a "Tabbed" version featuring a tab on the right side that faces the camera. I'm currently experimenting with the tabbed version on my Ender 3 using a binder clip to see where it fits best in my setup.
