thingiverse

This is my version on an Arcade cabinet. I liked the overall design of Thingiverse's project, but it was too big to print for my printer and the parts I was using were different too. So I decided to remix it into the design I present today. I took the opportunity to remove the ugly screws on the side panels and control surface of the original, making the whole thing less like a CNC router design and more like a 3D printer project. Unlike the original, all parts can be printed using a 20x20 cm print bed. I'm providing the files "as is" without full instructions, but I'm convinced that with the help of the pictures it's not too difficult to recreate. My version features a WS2812 LED strip controlled by an Arduino Mini Pro, but this is completely optional. The PLA in the photos was bought from 3dfilamentos.es (very good customer service). The joystick is mounted from the bottom as I couldn't find any really short M4 bolts. I used a longer bolt with a nut (see photo). A similar trick was used for fixing the screen frame and screen to the rest of the machine. Print Settings Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 25%
