The Pi Bracelet consists of 9 intricately designed interlocking links, each showcasing up to 14 digits after the decimal (3.14159265358979) and featuring one link with the distinctive Pi symbol. Each link measures approximately 16mm square in size, excluding the linkage, resulting in a total length of around 215mm when connected as a bracelet - an ideal fit for most adult average wrists. To achieve a more compact design, links can be easily removed to suit individual preferences. The design can also be scaled down to accommodate smaller wrists, such as those of children. The image displays both an 80% and 100% version of the Pi Bracelet, showcasing its versatility in terms of size. Link Design: Connecting the links is a straightforward process that relies on a custom-designed mechanism, making it relatively easy to assemble but more challenging to disassemble. To connect two links, simply position them at a 90-degree angle to each other, with the male pin portion fitting underneath the female mortise portion. Once aligned, gently push the pin into the mortise and straighten the pair until they click into place. Disassembling requires the opposite motion. It's worth noting that some models may have excess brim material on the bottom, which needs to be worn down before connecting becomes effortless. Interestingly, this excess material serves as a vital component in maintaining a secure connection. As users connect and disconnect the links, it may take some time for the pairs to move and flex freely, allowing the bracelet to lay comfortably against the wrist. A noble aspect of this model is that if it were ever to be sold at a price, 100% of the proceeds would be donated to a DonorsChoose project specifically supporting educational recipients.
