Pi-4 Pacman Ghost Case
prusaprinters
This is a Raspberry Pi 4 case in the design of a Pacman ghost. The entire model consists of four stl files; the main body, the cover, the eye whites with led diffusers and the pupils. You can add 6mm magnets to the body and cover so they snap together nicely. In the model pictured, I added a power button after designing and printing so the hole for a power switch is not included in the stl for the body file. It's simple enough to drill a hole for a switch like the one pictured. The eye pupils are designed to slide into the eye white pieces, which then seat into the holes on the case cover. I use a forgiving E-6000 adhesive which holds well but allows the parts to be removed and replaced if needed. I found this useful for making changes to my design. As designed, the pieces should hold together with pressure only until you ensure everything is perfect. Also included are the gcode files if you'd like to try the settings that have worked for my Ender 3 v2. Please note that these settings will be very subjective depending on your individual printer setup. One of the main features of this case will be LEDs mounted in the eyes to give the case some additional character. This code is written in python and if you're familiar you can create your own or modify the one I've created with a pattern you prefer. You can add blinky_eyes.py file to your Pi's home directory or subfolder and then add the following line to your /etc/rc.local file between the fi and exit 0 linespython /home/pi/<path-to-file>/blinky_eyes.py &I have the following GPIO pins controlling the LEDs:Pin 20; this is physical pin 38 on the PiPin 26; this is physical pin 37 on the PiYou can connect the negative leads to any available ground pins on the Pi. I used physical pins 34 and 39 for my ground pins.
With this file you will be able to print Pi-4 Pacman Ghost Case with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Pi-4 Pacman Ghost Case.
