Pi 4 bottom case half - t slot mount Ender 3 V2
thingiverse
I wanted to mount my Pi 4, which I use for OctoPrint, on the rails of my Ender 3 V2. I hadn't seen a mounting that I liked, I wasnt ready to hack power to it through the gpio yet - I just wanted it secured somewhere for the time being. The spot at the rear left, behid the extruder, looked like a good bet. I also wanted to still have access to the micro SD card, and all the ports - quite a few other designs block off one or more. And since I wanted to use up some PETG i have, I also didnt want to deal with supports of any kind, so this case and the flat block mounting makes that super easy. Better calibration and testing would sort all of that, but this is literally a 2 min throw together, working around those limitations whilst at it. Typing this took longer than designing it lol. So a quick smash together of a bottom case from the famous Malolo's case collection (i was already using one version of this case anyway) and then stole and modified the extrusion mounting pattern from HavocBlack's filament holder - because measuring is hard, and they already beefed up around the mounting screws saving me a step. Trim off what we dont want, merge whats left together in Tinkercad and here we have it - sharing in case it is of use to anybody else, who knows.
