Pi 3B Case with 30mm Internal Fan - Easy Print
thingiverse
Credit for the design goes to Thingiverse user J741. I only made small modifications. Case for Raspberry Pi 3B, seems to fit my Orange Pi 3B, too. I believe it should work for 3B+ models but don't have one.I made the vertical openings smaller to make the print easier. I was having issues where the bridging at the top of the vertical slits would break off all of the little posts. These side vents likely aren't essential for cooling, especially if you're using a fan anyways. Remixed from another's design, see that for more info on the details. It's designed to fit a 30mm fan inside and be mounted on 2020 aluminum rails. It uses a friction fit.Select one top piece: EZ (easy), EZR (easier), EZST (easiest). Also print the bottom piece, unchanged from remixed design. Print short protection if you'll be using screws to mount to metal rails.EZ: makes the slits smaller by cutting them in half horizontallyEZR: makes the slits even smallerEZST: removes the vertical slits (no openings)I'm using it with an Orange Pi 3B and this cooling fan and heat sink kit:GeeekPi Raspberry Pi 4 Fan, Raspberry Pi Cooling Fan 30x30x7mm DC 5V Brushless CPU Cooling Fan with 7PCS Raspberry Pi Heatsink for Raspberry Pi 4 Model B,3B+,Pi 3 & Retroflag NESPI CASE Plus (1-Pack)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C9C99RMRunning Octoprint via octoprint_deploy and a webcam, the Orange Pi 3B is staying very cool. Idle temperature is about 32C in a room temperature basement.
