PI 3 Case Standoffs

PI 3 Case Standoffs

I designed these standoffs to secure my PI and its enclosure to the back of my monitor. They're specifically crafted to fit standard VESA-mounted cases that are commonly found in various designs. The standoffs press-fit into pre-drilled holes, but their accuracy depends on the precision of your 3D printer. To enhance stability, I recommend applying double-sided 3M adhesive tape to the base of each standoff for a secure attachment to the monitor. As an alternative, you can create the pin slightly smaller than the hole, allowing the case to slide easily on and off, while using small O-rings to prevent it from slipping out. I manufactured these standoffs using ABS material with a solid infill and a 2 mm layer height for optimal structural integrity.
