After several attempts to find a suitable case for mounting an octopi camera on my Kossel, I decided to build one myself. Too many downloaded covers failed to match the Pi3's clone display, and most of them were too thin and flimsy to secure firmly to the printer. In the nick of time, I stumbled upon Chixxis' case, thanks to its clever display code in the header. With that, I no longer needed to design my own cover from scratch - it was solid, stiff, and perfectly suited for the Pi3. There were still a few loose ends to tie up on both sides of the Kossel, so I'm happy to contribute to the design. Additionally, I tweaked the left cover lid for the display to be just a bit longer. This small adjustment should make it more user-friendly. To ensure everything stays securely in place and plugged together neatly, I've extended some of the protrusions and added an external lid to secure the fan side firmly. Have fun building your own Kossel! If all goes well, I'll post some photos once my setup is up and running.
