A Bachelor's thesis project involved designing and creating an x-ray beam stopper for crystallographic research. A nylon threaded bar allows x-rays to pass through while a 5mm or 3mm lead ball at the end stops the primary beam. IGUS GmbH donated the rail and slide, and the experiment used PHYWE X-ray XR 4.0 system with a CCD camera from PHYWE for imaging.
