Fitococcus typically resembles an ordinary wooden barrel in appearance. A person sits inside a shop located within it. The phyto barrel features two opening doors on its sides and top, with a cutout for the head at the top cover. The phyto barrel comes equipped with a system that supplies steam from a specialized steam generator. This steam is saturated with herbal preparations due to being supplied under pressure. Mixtures of dry, crushed herbs are used in the phyto barrel, which are immersed in a container installed specifically for them within the steam generator. Fitococcus operates as follows: water is poured into the steam generator first, followed by the placement of phytosets in the container of the steam generator. The required evaporating temperature is then set and the steam generator is switched on. When the water reaches its boiling point, the steam saturated with herbs enters the barrel where the person sits. A distinctive characteristic of Fitococcus is that only a part of the body below the neck is exposed to the effect of steam. Since the head is located outside the barrel, the air receives full-fledged atmospheric air (inhalation is also possible by inhaling vapors coming out of the barrel). As a rule, the temperature regime ranges from 42-45 degrees and the time spent in the phyto barrel is typically between 10-15 minutes.
